Keeping Your Words Safe in the Years Ahead
Many people who work with Eulonique want to know that their story will be told thoughtfully when the time comes. They’ve often put great care into what’s said at their funeral, but fewer have considered how and where those words should be kept.
A eulogy, like any legacy, needs looking after. It’s not just about writing it. It’s about making sure it’s there when someone needs it.
The comfort of a printed copy
There’s something reassuring about having a physical version of your eulogy: it’s something you can hold in your hands, file with important papers, or hand to a trusted friend or loved one. It’s a keepsake, not just a document. For many people, a printed copy offers a quiet sense of permanence.
In my time as a celebrant, families often mentioned the small touches that stood out. One person told me how grateful they were to receive a printed copy. It became something they returned to after the service – a tangible reminder of the moment and the message.
That same instinct carries into the work we do here. Everyone who uses Eulonique receives a printed copy of their eulogy as part of their plan. It’s included because, for most people, it matters.
The reassurance of a digital version
At the same time, it’s worth asking: what happens if the paper is lost? Or if the person you trusted can’t find it when it matters most?
That’s where digital storage plays an important role. Our Living Legacy and Everlasting Tribute plans include secure digital access to your eulogy as standard. These versions are safely stored, easy to retrieve, and – perhaps most importantly – easy to update.
With these plans, you can nominate up to two trusted people to be given access. That way, your eulogy won’t just be stored; it will be available when it’s needed, even if life has moved on, houses have changed, or papers have been misplaced.
How Eulonique handles both
Every plan includes a printed copy of your eulogy. If you choose either the Living Legacy or Everlasting Tribute plan, you’ll also have a digitally stored version that can be reviewed and updated annually. The Everlasting Tribute plan also includes printed copies of any legacy letters you choose to include. With both of the upper-tier plans, you can nominate a trusted person to be given secure access to your documents for safekeeping. If you choose the Legacy plan and later decide you’d like digital storage too, you can add that as an optional extra.
It’s not just about what will be said. It’s about making sure it’s ready – protected, accessible, and preserved for those who’ll need it.
